Lincoln County Volunteer Fire  

Flintville Station
Flintville's first fire station was located in what was known as the "Tater House" on Brighton Road. The first fire truck was donated by TV A and remained there until the 1980's; then moved into a building located on the Flintville School property.

In the late 1990's, a new station was built in downtown Flintville. It currently houses a 1982 GMC Tanker, 1983 GMC Mini-Pumper, and a 1981 GMC Pumper. It also houses the Flintville Community Center.

Blanche Station
The Blanche fire Department began with a 1977 Ford Truck donated by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in June of 1977.

It was housed in a County owned building. Since that time, the County has added a new metal building for a substation in Taft. Both stations have Class A Pumpers and Tankers. There is also a mini-pumper at the Taft location.

Mulberry Station
The Mulberry Fire Department began in the middle 1970's. The front part of the" Woodsmen of the World" building was renovated into a station house. A 1978 Chevrolet pickup that had been converted into a miniipumper was the first truck The Station still uses this same truck

With proceeds from the sale of the old Mulberry School Building, the Department was able to purchase and equip A 1978 Ford Tanker.

Vann Town Station
The Vann Town Volunteer Fire Department began with a 1978 Chevrolet Mini Pumper housed in a County owned building.

The station was updated and now is equipped with a Class A pumper, and Tanker.

Dellrose Station
The Dellrose Volunteer fire Department began in a County and Community owned building in New Dellrose.

They were initially equipped with 1959 Ford truck purchased in 1984.

Since its' beginning, one new bay has been added to the Dellrose station. It currently houses a Class A Pumper and Tanker; and a service truck.

Howell Station
The Howell Volunteer Fire Department began in 1985 in a County owned building. It housed a 1985 Chevrolet oneeton pickup equipped with a pump and a 400-gallon water tank.

The station's equipment has been updated to the current Class A Pumper and Tanker.

  Molino Station
The Molino Volunteer Fire Department started up with a 1968 Chevrolet Mini Pumper bought in November of 1986. Andy Tjelmeland headed up this effort.

The Station currently houses a Class A heavy rescue pumper and a Tanker in a County owned building.

  Central Station
In 1995, The Leadership Lincoln Class project was to raise money to purchase a fire truck to run the area just outside the Fayetteville City limits.

They raised enoug.h to purchase a 1965 Ford Class A Pumper. This Central Volunteer Fire Department is housed in the EMA building in Fayetteville.

 
  Park City Station
The Park City Fire Department began with a 1972 Ford pumper and tanker housed in a County owned building. In 1992 the truck was replaced with a new one and their old truck was passed down to Petersburg. The new truck was totaled in wreck and 1978 pumper was purchased for $20,000. That truck is still in use at Park City along with a tanker and a mini pumper. Their station has been recently renovated.
  Elora Station
Some time before 1980, Elora received $5,000 from the County Government to erect the building where the Fire Department currently resides. Elora's first truck was a used Ford handed down from Flintville. Since then, Elora has added on to the station building and is now equipped with a 1976 Ford pumper and a 1969 International tanker.
  Boonshill Station
The Boonshill Community organized their Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1970's when the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) donated a 1978 Ford Mini Pumper to them. Lincoln County spent $5000 to erect a building to house the truck In the late 1990's a 1978 International Tanker and a 1964 Ford Pumper were added to the station.
  Petersburg Station
The Petersburg Fire Department began with a 1978 Mini Pumper also donated by TVA. The Department was housed in a building owned by the City of Petersburg.

Since that time, the station has been moved to Water Street. It now houses a Class A Pumper and Tanker.

  Belleville Station
In November of 1980, the Lincoln County Fire Department spent $700 for an addition to the Community Center in Belleville to provide a fire station.

A 1972 Pumper was purchased from the City of Fayetteville Fire Department.

In 1995 a second bay was added to the station to house a tanker. Belleville currently has a 1963 "Mac" Pumper, and a Tanker.
